Overview
BOBCAT provides a service oriented architecture (SOA) that can operate as either a client-server application or as an integrated part of a larger analytical system. BOBCAT has the distinct capability to:
- Process structured and unstructured data: Better utilize intel reports, text messages, databases, MS Office documents, PDF files, and Web sites.
- Organize that data into themes based on content: Sift through data in a way that allows analysts to ask informed questions and drive to detailed conclusions faster than ever before.
- Identify and characterize relationships between entities: Automatically use the themes that have been generated to visually characterize how entities in the data are associated with one another.
- Predict future events: Use historical and real-time data to provide an analyst with possible future events and their associated probabilities.
- Output results in MS Office formats: Export results as Word or PowerPoint documents for communication across the leadership team.

Within the data relevant to your search, BOBCAT automatically groups together words into common themes. With minimal effort, these themes can be translated into major concepts that are present in your data, but may be spread across many documents (and would be otherwise very difficult to discover).
BOBCAT recognizes people, places, and organizations, and groups them when they are related. From this analysis, it is easy to see how these entities are linked together.
Query Interface
Query a large body of data to find only the documents relevant to your search.
Locations that are discovered are plotted on an interactive 3D world view. With a single mouse click, you can read the document from which a location was extracted.
Search raw text, Microsoft Office files, and Adobe Acrobat documents.
